Google getting as strict as Apple about in-app purchases?

At least that's what some people are suspecting:

However, this is only one app, and Google haven't given their side of the story yet, so the developer may well be guilty of something else.

Of course, given that we don't have access to the paid side of the Market this could be bad news for South African users of Android.

Doesn't bother in the least... Free apps are not just Free, but you can find basically anything you could want!

Nothing wrong with Google being strict with their Market. We're free to get apps elsewhere, even straight from the developer. Unlike Apple, Google's Market policies don't stop you from getting the app you want.

The developer violated the T&Cs of Google's Android Market, so what's the big deal?

You read the T&Cs, then decide to do it your way....and when you get rapped on the knuckles, you tell the world that Google is a big bully.
