And a little bit scary. But mostly cool.

I'm loving Google Photos - always worry about losing mine and it is backed up by Google+ in any case - now at least it will be pretty high resolution!

And the searching functions seems pretty sweet as well.

Was the google+ backup not always full resolution?

Yes but it takes up your alloted space, if you go with the unlimited version it scales down images

I've actually had that on MIUI (custom ROM) since my Moto Defy back in the day.

And I have a it now on my S4 running GearCM.

The way they simplified it on M though is awesome.

It's definitely a feature needed on Android due to torch apps that need access to my contacts and saved passwords.
