I'm currently staying in Fairland, Johannesburg.

I can't connect to Gtalk, and Google searches turn up a connection error. All other browsing is fine.

Please recheck. Tests seem fine.

Provide us with a tracert please.

Thanks

Aaaaaaaand it's all dead now. :/

I've had connectivity problems since I arrived here on Saturday. Everything fine, fine, fine, then dead.

I'm on deadline here. If I didn't have access to a friend's DSL next door, I'd be raging.

[EDIT] Shaun, I think it's probably the massive thunderstorm that's just rolled in. Ah, Joburg.

Iam in Fairlands Jhb and everything seems ok

I had some issues with Google yesterday as well. The secretary @ work also had a problem this morning (not using iBurst, but Seacom).

I've been getting this message from the Google search engine from time to time over the last 5 days:
We're sorry...
...but your computer or network may be sending automated queries.
To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.

Been getting error messages from Google all day yesterday. Not an ISP fault but rather Google going a bit wonky :)
