Google Maps vs Apple Maps vs Waze

I do have and use Google Maps very often....its awesome because i use satellite view and terrain view and it also has a voice function.....tops the others...

People who vote for google maps probably haven't tried Waze. Google maps is way out of date and frequently gets you lost, Waze has daily updates from local volunteers!

I use Waze everyday for travel to work, and also use it for long distance travel.
For long distance travel it has saved me countless hours more than once being stuck in standstill traffic due to accidents etc, as well as informed me of the hidden popo. Sometimes i dont listen to it, and i regret it instantly when i see a stream of brake lights

I must admit though with Waze, it seems to "save" a preferred route if you go a certain way more often than not. Some days i do challenge it, and end up getting to my work destination 10+ mins earlier than the route it initially provided me.

Waze is only great as long as you have cell reception. The overall experience is the best between the valid speed warnings, mapping, and pigspotting. Its also the most responsive to congestion.

When the signal fails, and it does so often when you are on the fringes of the city, Here has an edge over Google Maps especially in the wide open spaces of the platteland. Apple Maps is good for a laugh when you know the way, but seek adventure and wtf humour to lighten a boring drive.

Google navigation (for android wear) works perfect on the bike
gmaps/waze/oem tomtom in that order when travelling by car.
