Google may offer Android app subscription service

Engadget reports that XDA contributor Kieron Quinn has found code references and a survey which imply that Google is considering an app subscription service.

The survey mentions that the service would include hundreds of dollars of apps for a monthly fee, and would be called “Play Pass”.

If I am understanding this correctly, a single pay model for a bucket of Android applications. I actually would like that.

Interesting concept but I doubt I'll sub to something like this unless they include Google music and Google Books in it
