Seems google is doing tests on various networks....
"The goal of the project is to use network latency measurements on a variety of networks, in large enough numbers, to pinpoint the geographical location of any Internet user. CNET points out that simple proxy servers could defeat the concept, something the WorldNet Daily article hints isn't possible. From the reader who submitted the article: "The [patent abstract] makes it clear that the entire method is dependent on being able to create a latency map, in real time, of the entire network; no small task, unless you are the NSA and willing to throw lots and lots of megabucks at the problem."

Just noticed it on my traffic log.....They should be interested in Telkoms results
