So, its just been announced, sort of.
Curious to find out if anyone will be attempting to import a few. If so, put me in line for 1 :D.

LMAO @ "No LTE" Classic

Who cares about LTE in SA? It's gonna take our carriers more than 2years to have a stable/reliable LTE network up and running. So a device with no LTE will still last you for a couple of years.

Vodacom doesn't even have a stable 3G network yet after a decade hey they the first to launch LTE. LOL

It's all about bragging rights.

Vodacom just added the "1st" post to the African LTE forum. LOL

Thanks for writing what i couldn't be bothered explaining to the troll :p.

Although it has no LTE but it has Excellent Specs only falls short of an Micro SD Slot and by looking at the pricing $299 8GB and $349 16GB a far better buy than the Galaxy SIII and at least you will get a few next version android updates before other devices.

+1, Guess I could live without a micro SD card. To be honest though I think Google is really innovating with Android. The new features on 4.2, coupled with the lag from manufacturers and carriers to push updates; the Nexus devices are gonna become more and more appealing.
Hopefully Cell C has the Nexus 4 by upgrade time next year :)

One thing I don't get is why Google's releasing 8GB devices. I have a Galaxy S 8GB and without my SD card I'd be stuffed. Its just not enough

Well if we had the data plans they have internationally 8 gig would be fine. Pity in SA 3G data cost to much so we end up storing stuff like music and what not with us that could have stayed in the cloud.

They are trying to keep the price down. Considering the hardware, $299 is damn cheap.

I don't think the the case. Google has never put SD card slots on Nexus devices. They want people to use cloud storage. In a way I agree with them, but as previously mentioned this doesn't really work in places like South Africa.

I was talking about the 8GB storage. Flash is quite expensive.

Come on Mybroadband, put some heat on our carriers!!

We NEED to know:
- When will the Nexus 4 be available?
- What is the price? Then tell them to make is cheaper.
- Will it come in that Pimpin' Gold colour?

Thank you
