I detest these kinds of devices being wireless only. Wired is just more stable and less finicky.

I really don't mind the wifi only. Moved my Roku 3 over from cable to wifi when I moved flats and it honestly hasn't skipped a beat, then again the wifi ap is in the same room so signal not an issue.

I see it has wifi ac, so speeds won't be an issue, just signal.

Yeah, but the recent mission I went through to get the SO's Chromecast to work properly left a sour taste in my mouth.

Depends on the setup I guess.
