Hi guys...
I've managed to get a few of these Nexus 7's these are Brand New Sealed. They are on hand. And ready for shipment or collection.

Corrected.... Was supposed to be R3600..
Here's a breakdown for you..
Device cost $325 (yes it's premium after US taxes and Shipping and due to the shortage of the 16GB ) R2750
Add local duties and VAT... On 110% of items value R425
Finally shipping to SA... R250
Total Cost of Device.. R3425..
That leaves me with a profit of R175.
So yeah....... Take it or leave it... I'm not forcing it on you.. And AFAIK It's the cheapest you can get one for in SA... With immediate delivery..
 
Yeah, that's better. I was comparing your price to Expansys', so R3800 seemed too much.

I'll hopefully get one from the UK by next month for 199 pounds, dependant on whether or not my contact can find some in physical stores.
 
Will the Nexus 7 be completely useable here without Google Play? On the website it says Google Play isn't available here yet. Just out of interest!
 
Well.
I personally have one... Am the play store works just fine..
If you want the books and movies you would need to root it..
But my Google music streams my library just fine and the apps all work as they would on any other android device with a playstore...
This has the Nvidia Tegra Quad core processor and supports the games from Tegra Zone Quite well..
The PPI on this is 216 which is pretty good

Cool story guy....Its really not hard to phone takealot up and say; "listen my tablet broke.". Your warranty wont be any longer. Takealot provide 6months with them, but if you register the tablet on asus website, you get an additional year depending on the product. You send them an email, organize shipping (you pay for the shipping there) and they pay for the shipping back. I hate people like you that try scam people.

I'm seriously missing something in your argument.
 
Also, the guy seems to be registered on MyBB as a dealer. That counts a lot.

Anyway, I'm lazy now so can someone tell me whether this piece of action has 3G? I won't be able to survive solely on Wifi as I want to buy one with the express intention of using on my commute to and from work.

Dude, you are making an ass of yourself. The guy is not a scammer, he is a registered dealer and also sells off Carbonite. Get your facts straight before you start trolling.

I just received more stock...
I will update the thread with new pricing, which seems to have come down...
 
I hope you will still have some in two weeks time as I want two. Anyway Still trying to figure out the trolls logic!!
