Google Now - Home and work address

Is there anyway of entering - for example - a home address using the GPS signal as opposed to entering an address?

As an example if I enter my home address of 100 Smith Street JHB, it is actually picking up about 500m down the road. Is there some way of using Google maps to GPS lock and use the exact location as my address?

Personal preference, I dont load my exact address to any device (phone, GPS etc) so that if it should get stolen, the people cant find my home too.

Anyway, you could go into maps on the PC, right click your address and click on whats here, then copy the coordinates that will appear in the search bar. Input that into your home address (found under my places, top left) and bobs your uncle

Thanks man ... it's just that the 500m-1km it adds is adding actually adds 10+ minutes ... so traffic timing is out.

They should add a button to make current location home/work ... Can't be hard

I follow the same rule, just think about it, one hi-jack and they have your car + keys to your house and its address.

I normally just enter my street or closest corner as the address.

I live in a security complex, so they would have to go through a view flats before they get to mine

Nope, too much hassle, besides if someone do ever nick my phone, I would like him to use it so I can put the Anti-theft to good use and track em down.
