WRT Google Now, I feel it is a complete waste in this country.

I disagree, the traffic warnings help me a lot and the best thing about it is that it actively notifies me. It tells me that my travel time is affected by x minutes and if the delay gets worse it keep on updating me every 10 minutes or so. I travel on the N1 in JHB and traffic can be a nightmare.

Went over to the States a week back and got a whole lot more info from Google Now, from proper real-time weather and traffic updates to store sales as I walked into Malls. Absolutely amazing app if you are State side.

I too, use the traffic and weather notifications, but the remainder of the cards? Not worth it in this country. So in terms of it's overall functionality, it is largely a waste.
