Both of the Titan models are FIDO-compatible and can be used across any service which supports hardware key two-factor authentication?
 
Hmmm. I was just wondering why they were so expensive and dug up my Yubikey receipt from 2013... They were $25 each. Never used them *facepalm*

That could all change when and if Google finds out that such a country actually exists.

Save your money. A $10 WIRED magazine subscription includes a YubiKey 4. That's the annual rate - not monthly. International subscribers pay an extra $10 for delivery, also as an annual fee. Really good value just for the key.

Ah bummer, guess they increased it. $10 for 12 deliveries to SA was a bit too good I guess. Well, even at $40 you get 12 issues of a pretty cool magazine, premium access to their website and the YubiKey 4.

May as well order the key direct from somewhere though. A magazine freebie will take a while to arrive.

Pretty sure it's best practice to own at least two YubiKeys, in case one gets lost or stolen. You could order one from YubiKey and one from WIRED. If you're concerned about SAPO (a very valid concern) and you order other stuff from the US from time to time, just send your WIRED subscription to a mail forwarding service in the US and include it in your package when you send your stuff to SA. That way it's just $10 for the YubiKey.
 
For those that don’t know Google doesn’t make these keys , they are feitan keys white laballed by google ( https://www.ftsafe.com/products/FIDO )

I have had both the bluetooth and usb one for about a year after I switched from yubikey due to their chip being found to be vulnerable to attacks. Might be why google seitched they also used to use yubikey internally.

But there are distributors for feitan in SA they just not operating at a retail level mostly tenders and such.
