So, what's next? Anti-social networking? Social networks, like new things, are now common and integrated into our lives

I don't see the need for an all pervading social network, be it FB or Google.

Individual focused forums serve that need pretty well.

I just wish G+ would replace Facebook completely. It integrates into the google experience much better, making navigating it much easier.

Well, when is Google going to open Plus up to the general public?

Isn't it already?

I've also got an account, love the circles concept. Allows for much more granularity in choosing who to share status updates with. And you don't have to befriend someone who adds you to their circle, like on FB.
And it integrates with Picasa as you photo albums - way better than FB's photo where I always had to re-upload stuff to as well.

Ive never really gotten onto the whole social network thing, mostly a waste of time, only thing i use it for is to keep in contact with old friends! Otherwise i see the people i want to see, dont need FB for that!

Faceless communication and digital infatuation. Next stop: full duplex fibre optic enlightment

so far Google+ is as exciting as listening to two 90 year olds discuss knitting patterns (and one is dead)

HAHA!! Amen dude... Aaaa-fukken-men.

Although, I'll add something to that scenario...
Taking the current hype into account, it's like being 12 years old again, and being forced by your mother to listen to two 90 year olds discuss knitting patterns (and one has brain cancer).

Google + is awesome

and better than facebook but i have had enough of the social network scene. I cancelled g+ fb twitter and now I live on whatsapp. I am sick and tired of having to manage a virtual social life including my compulsion to check my broadband 3 times a day :). MBB has more value than facebook :)

Must admit they will have a tough time moving the mainstream Facebook users to their offering. It's sad when ur not 1st with the concept

Hoping that I can close my facebook and twitter accounts one of these days.

It would be nice not having to receive "Andrew sent you an invite on Farmille" on Facebook all the time. Solution: Google+

HOWEVER! I really dislike how Google+ does the sending of messages to other Google+ users. Too much PT to get the message across unless you're going to comment on something.
Kudos to them for having a nice photo viewing system though. One that works instead of Facebook's one which only works most of the time.

Google+ is growing too slowly for me. I have more than 800 friends on Facebook of which more than half actually are active. Only 4 of them are using Google+. It looks like most people are still happy with FB and will not start to use G+. Why? I wish I knew.

Because they will have to build\hunt up 'friends' again to try and have the most on their profile!
