Google Photos - soft when straightening ?

Doe anyone use it and find an image goes softer, when straightening ?

i don't think it actually *is* softer, as when you zoom up you get the detail - but it is definitely softer ?

Maybe my experience differs from yours but I've been blessed mostly with my user experience with Google photos being very positive. Also, in future please remember that the Google photos app is not really meant for photo editing and to rather use a more dedicated app for that purpose.

I'm on a PC ... and generally, it's OK.

But now that I'm putting a bit more effort into management of photos, I do see a few short comings :

I wish you mirror a photo!
A sharpen slider would be great
And duplicate photos, especially based on EXIF data would help
