I think what I tried to do was to use both iCloud & Google Photos at the same time .
So if I recall, I created the albums in Google Photos and and then somehow synced them to iOS or iCloud ... and then it seems to have uploaded them again. I dunno.
But it something to that affect and I'm just trying to get everything normal now
Maybe it’s easier to have nothing to do with iCloud?
Any photo taken on iPhone, just backs up to Google Photos? No syncing or anything?
Use just Google Photos or iCloud. Not sure why people make life willingly hard for themselves.
This is the 'hack'?It's not ideal, if I had the funds to blow on cloud space I'd probably pay for it.
But the broke man's hack is; you get 15gb free storage on an account without paying. So just create multiple Google accounts.
I have like 40 Google accounts, namebackup1@gmail
namebackup2@gmail
And so on...
Side note; I find it annoying that I don't have a perfect chronologically-named system. Some of my namebackup numbers were already in use.

You can watch ads and get more storage. It's just 5gb bigger than Google's 15
You get confused between pixels (MP) and data (MB).I have 2TB storage with Google Photos and I’ve set to original size backup.
Does this mean the photo below (17MB) should back up to 17MB? Why is it under 7MB?
I’ve also got a few photos that are duplicates and using the example below, all duplicates are 17 MB - but the backup varies between 3 and 7MB.
Sound right?
Or if your woman allows you to take videos of the deplorable things she lets you do to her in the bedroomA sure-fire way to quickly run out of Google Photos storage is to have it shared with a Google Family-member who's had a new baby.
I was honestly expecting him to explain this:Please do tell!
Back in the day, I just uploaded to facebook and then blocked everyone from viewing the photos.A sure-fire way to quickly run out of Google Photos storage is to have it shared with a Google Family-member who's had a new baby.
