I see many are quite sceptical about the veracity of the leak. Guess we'll know in a few days anyway.

That is and always has been my dream.I'm so glad that it's finally happening.I love Sony but unfortunately they just didn't get the memo and have released phones with monstrous bezels so their phones are now for me.

Note 8 or Iphone X for me thanks.

I'm even more picky - I don't want a skinned Android, and most definitely don't want to rely on manufacturers and possibly service providers for software updates.

The game has moved on. It needs a dedicated assistant button like the Galaxy S8 to compete.

Moved on from what? Google Now is the best digital assistant by miles. Bixby sucks balls and due to enormous demand Samsung have only now allowed people to disable the Bixby button.

Vanilla Android performs better and gets better battery life. The Pixel 2 could easily be the best phone available once it drops. The only downfall for me is the premium price - I'd rather just get the OnePlus 5 (which is what I did).
