are you using Amazon US? Amazon US seems to only allow you to select the device if you have a US shipping address, like using AGS otherwise it just shows resellers at high markup prices.Ordered on Amazon. Let's hope the fingerprint sensor is not a total failure again :/

Really? They're the most secure phones if you flash grapheneOS on them.If you are truly serious about privacy you would not walk into a mall to get your phone.
I know, that's why I want to know when the Pixel 7 variants will be available to purchase (from CD).They won't be available locally. Can only purchase imports via online stores like Connected Devices.
Pixel 7 is now available from them for a cool R18k. That's a lot more expensive than importing it yourself.I know, that's why I want to know when the Pixel 7 variants will be available to purchase (from CD).
Your average user is not truly serious about privacy...Your average user does not even know what flashing means though and even if they did understand it, would likely not have the time or patience to sit with doing something like that.
It's straight forward. Even an ape will be able to manage https://grapheneos.org/install/webI think we are talking cross purposes.
You are obviously talking average in terms of greater collective of users not taking their privacy seriously. I don't know how many do or don't and have not seen any polls which shed light on that claim.
I am talking "average" in terms of those who are serious about their privacy but possess "average" technical ability and do not know how to flash a phone let alone what an operating system even is. It's not a straight forward plug and play procedure.
For that particular market I am referring to, there are alternatives out there however they are not usually the types of devices you just walk into a mall and buy off of the shelf as they are more specialized and aimed towards a more narrow target market.
