I don't know, they control the physical manufacturing now so it would be borderline tin foil hat time.
 
Would buy. The only reason that Samsung have done so well is because of Android. If you compare the quality of Samsung's hardware to that of Apple, there is no competition. Samsung are not going to be happy. I would expect lawsuits to be filed over this. I strongly believe Google will put something out that is better than Samsung and will blow Apple out of the water.

Well, if the Chrome Pixel is anything to go by, then I would not be surprised. DAMN .... that thing is beautiful.

Thats decent actually, Im guessing its the Samsung and other devices that don't get updated as often unless you on one of the mods.

How long your Nexus will get updates

After a certain period, Google can no longer guarantee that a device will get version updates or security patches.

Nexus devices receive:

Android version updates
For at least two years from when the device became available on the Google Store.
Security patches
For the longer of 3 years from availability or 18 months from when the Google Store last sold the device.

No competition at all - The Samsung devices are on a completely different level :)
