Hi guys please help!

I have a Samsung Galaxy SGS2.
I've just moved from Checkrom HD Revo V6 to ICS (South Africa XFA build found here: http://www.hotfile.com/dl/156111837/79f0c11/I9100XWLP7_I9100OJCLP6_XFA.zip.html

I've installed the the CheckRom DK Kernel 1.2 (Rooted) for ICS as well.

When I go into Google Play, pictures and icons of all the apps don't load at all. I've looked around the web and on xda forums and the only mention of a similar problem that I can find is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626607

I have the same problem as the image
attachment.php

The problem is not slow internet. I can browse fine, sometimes the play store feels a little slow but I can download apps fine. Downloaded the latest apk for the Google Play Store as well. No luck.

When I moved to ICS originally a couple months back using a Polish version I had the same issue. I went back to Checkrom Revo HD v6 and the issue went away. Now that I'm on ICS again, the issue has come back.

Anyone have any idea whats the issue?

I thought that perhaps I flashed the polish version again so here is my version of ICS.
Baseband: I9100XXLPS
Build Number: IML74K.XWLP7

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
