Going through the list of apps available, most of the good titles I already bought. For Photo and Video Editing the apps on there are not the ones I would use.

So not sure if it s really worth it at this stage.

Ignoring the Games, Google Play include some nice apps. Would I subscribe, no, simply because I don't need it.

For gaming subs, well, I am subscribed to many.

(I don't have an Xbox)

But isn't that more like a streaming service, not actually mobile games. So you need to be connected with your Xbox?

Google Play Pass give you access to Android / Mobile Games, although the selection is limited.
You need to be able to connect to Xbox Game streaming servers, so there's no need to own a Xbox. There have people here who managed to use this service via a VPN

Do they also have the Android Games?
A lot of their titles are available on Android but those are the console versions of those titles. You going to need a controller, not sure if touch controllers are available yet but they were working on it last time I heard.
you think

Although I'm contemplating another year or two for audible.
I think it's best to wait for them to launch a new bundle Wich includes YT Premium. My Guess this + YT family plan would cost around R115pm

If I could do the subscription and the kid's phones are covered as well I'd do it.
Most of their games a riddled with ads and videos

Edit: Just saw this now, yes I'd do it.

Family managers can share access to Google Play Pass with up to 5 other family members so everyone can enjoy on their own devices.

Ah okay. So none of the premium Android games then.

I can't even remember the last time I was subscribed to Audible. For mobile gaming, Steam Link is a breeze, sometimes at night I get into bed throw on my controller and play a controller-centric title. There are some RPGs which plays nice on mobile.

Yes, steamlink is pretty good. Would be even better if the w10 xbox app gets something similar. Still.. you can gamestream it nonetheless.

What mobile controller you have?

I use these exclusively to game on Android/Google TV

1 x GameSir G4s (imported)

2 x SparkFox Atlas

The SparkFox is sometimes on a good special, but it doesn't have a mobile phone holder like the GameSir G4s. The GameSir G4s cost me $5 back in the day and it is well made.

For PC, Xbox controller or the better Xbox clones like Razer, etc.
