I just want to know if there are just one google play store or if there is a South African version?Payment only by credit or debit card?

I can pay via my mastercard, which is a debit card.

Prices are shown in rands.

I am not aware that there are multiple play stores, just a customised price for each region.

There are different stores. No music, movies or series for our region.

^ This. Only one play store. Just none of the niceties that you get internationally. Nobody trusts us! ;wtf:

Nothing to do with trust and everything to do with government and local business, multichoice for one is the reason we do to have access to the movies and series, they are also blocks g attempts for Netflix, hulu and prime to come into SA as that will eat into thier overpriced exclusivity.

Government first needs to find a proper workable way to tax them as well, no way we get good quality products without Nkandla getting a slice.

I simply moved my play account to UK and have full access to everything. It used to be an easy process, now however it's notably more complicated and you need to have a UK address as well as a debit or credit card as primary and make a purchase with said card while on a UK ip address. Once you have done all that you will find yourself with a whole lot more choice, and not only the unlocked areas, there are more apps as well.
