I bought a Nexus 4 recently and setup my Google Wallet to indicate my South African address and credit card. I bought one or two apps and it worked fine. A few days ago, I tried to use Google Music and got some message about this service not being available in your country... I got the same message when I tried accessing their magazines and other content.

With the Apple App Store, you can create a US ID and then use vouchers/gift cards to make purchases and thereby get full access to the store. What's the procedure for the Google PlayStore? I tried searching this forum and doing some research but got info on VPN's etc. What method are are you guys using to gain full access to the Google Play Store and how do you make payment?

On a side note- why would you particularly want to use Google Music and Movies? Would it not make more sense to just obtain a US iTunes account and purchase from there, and then load your music / movies onto your Android device using something like this?

Just a thought...
