Google Search app gets voice-enabled options

Still doesn't understand context at all (especially compared to Siri), but the speed is really impressive.
Hopefully Apple can improve the speed of Siri to get to the same point

So glad they're working on this instead of maps for iOS . . .

I found Apple Maps to be quite bad in the USA, but in Europe and SA, I found it to be quite a lot better than Google Maps. Italy especially, was a hell of a lot better.
How has your experience been so far?

It's very fast, almost real time. It has some contextual understanding but not as rich as Siri, also found it to be slightly more inaccurate but that's with limited trials.

I also much prefer Apple maps in SA, and I do believe Google is working on a Maps app for iOS still. But let's not go too much into that.

In the video demo it shows the app talking back to you, it doesn't do that on mine, no matter what settings I select. Any ideas?

Been messing around with this on my Galaxy Nexus on JB 4.1.2 and it is very intuitive and is rather simple to use. much better than the earlier Froyo versions.

Because Google can only work on one project at a time, ever. With having only one team of developers and all.
