Google Suite (apps) problem with Huawei phones

Hi
So my wife's phone has been randomly deleting/declining work appointments. It's a Huawei P8 lite, office is run via G Suite (google apps).
The IT body there says it's a known problem with Huawei and we should do a software update.


Has anyone encountered this before? Any details of the problem, and what piece of software is causing it, and what the fix is?

So I have the same problem with GSuite not syncing on my Huawei Mate 10 Pro

Hey,

So I just encountered the same problem with my new phone, Huawei mate 10 pro. My personal google account (gmail) is synchronising fine, but my work GSuite is only synchronising correctly for 1 day. After I then remove my account and add it again, it will work for 1 day and then it stops synchronising. It will give me the message ' account action required' and every login or sync attempt will fail and give problems.

I have tried a lot of things:
- Updating Google Play services manually
- Factory Reset
- Sorting out contacts
- Only syncing partially

It does not work, a direct collegue had the same issue, I have a feeling this is a compatibility problem of Huawei with the GSuite.

I have spoken to Huawei and the person I spoke to told me he has never heard of such an issue...

Have you maybe found a solution already? I am kind of stuck...
