Google Talk not connecting

Is there any good reason why Google talk is not connecting for the past 2 days? Anyone else getting this problem? Sometimes it does connect, but mostly only very early in the morning.

It connects fast and effortless on GPRS though.

The chat function in gmail seems to work most of the time..
