Where are all the people that were so outraged by the Huawei ban? Shouldn't they be equally outraged by this?
Not sure what your point is.

Google got cold feet when Peter Thiel (PayPal co-founder) accused Google of working with the Chinese military, and said the U.S. government should investigate the company.

Not really voluntary - it was a perceived financial threat from consumers.

Huawei was co-opted by Trump into a trade war under the false pretenses of security, but we all know the reason was MAGA.

Don't know how they thought this will ever work.
