Google website down ?

can anybody else get onto google... it keeps timing out for me

Im on SAOL ADSL

I'm also experiencing international connectivity problems.

I can get to secure (https) and ftp sites, though (international).

Update: apparently there is a fault on the New Germany esr - or something to that effect

After 20min on hold telkom gave me these proxy settings

cache.saix.net 8080

They don''t know why there is a problem but this fixed it for me.

yeah me too, i am on isdn and can only access local sites

Problem seems as just in KZN
