Sorry if this is the wrong forum. As above. I now have two of these mails and I have checked that they are legit. But I have not lost access to my Google account at any stage.

Seems like someone is giving my email as a contact for their request for access to another account. Should I look out for a phishing attempt trying to get me to enter my Google Account details on a bogus site?

Like all spam and phishing, delete without reading or opening links. By now you should only react to actions that you initiated, like resetting a password.

Ok :) Just don't like the feeling that someone is knocking on the back door. A little while ago I looked in my Junk mail folder and saw a notification of an attempted login on my pCloud account. Clicked through to check my account activity and entered my details before seeing the domain was wrong. Immediately changed my password on the legit site.
First time that I did that..
