GoPro 4 - available in shops?

Hey guys,

So I am leaving for Reunion Island next week (Thursday 27th); and for this adventure trip I specially bought a new GoPro 4 (Black) through TakeAlot to immortalize the amazing trip I am planning.

TakeAlot originally anticipated that stock will arrive tommorow (Friday 21st Nov), but yesterday informed me that I will only be receiving the camera after I leave on my trip.

I want to cancel my order, and am currently looking into other vendors who can sell me a camera before I leave next week.

Has anyone possibly seen these camera's in shops anywhere? They were released at the start of November, so it should be possible.

Ive sent queries to Actiongear, studio22 and Orms.
 
Have a look at Outdoorphoto, they have it on their site, not sure if they have stock in store though. They're based in Centurion/PTA.
 
The only issue I have with GoPro cameras is the poor battery life.
Make sure you add a spare battery or two or an external USB power pack so that you can recharge or extend the recording time if you plan to shoot for more than an hour at a time.
 
They all say "awaiting stock".

Reunion is awesome place by the way. Your timing sucks though, the Rand-Euro exchange rate, eish.
 
Thanks for the Outdoorphoto recommendation. They are expecting stock tomorrow or Monday, so hopefully that is indeed the case!

Can't wait to go. For me, it seems like the Rand/Euro is a lot better that it used to be?
I am more worried about the weather, as it is cyclone season and it could be very rainy....but the forecast for now seems good. Consistently 26degrees.

Sure it's not the lowest level ever (I think it was R17/€ at some point) but 14 is still pretty bad. Weather is very similar to the KZN coast. Humid, rains a lot and often cloudy.
 
Bought my Hero 4 silver at incredible connection Rosebank today. They had them at Cape Union mart as well.
