Hey all

I have started making gaming videos again and uploading them to Youtube. Its kind of a hobby and only a few subs, but it mainly shows gameplay with my SA friends. I focus a lot of Battlefield 4, and try to provide entertaining videos. I also love creating music video montages. So if that's you thing, please take a peek.

If you are fellow BF4 players , you may see yourself there, although I admit, I don't normally post clips of me being owned all the time, just a select few where I get on a roll, hahahaha

I would honestly really appreciate any view, likes and especially constructive feedback and suggestions

Nice channel.

Which compression software do you use? I often have videos I want to put on Youtube, but a few gigs on 50kb/s upload is not fun for me.

Hi thanks guys

The subs are appreciated :)

My current capture method is AMD Gaming evolved app, I use the Highlights section under Plays.Tv
I record the last minute or two backwards in time when something happens. ( Like Nvidia shadowplay) For a complete round I will use Fraps, but I am looking at buying Dxtory.

With the AMD software I don't notice any kind of resource impact though. I record at 1080p 60FPS at 40Mb/s. This gives me a 2 minute clip about 500Mb in size to work with. I record it all to a separate SSD though.

I use Sony Vegas to edit, and output file type as follows

Save as type = Sony AVC
Audio, 128kbps 48000Hz 32Bit Steroe, AAC
Video 29970fps, 1920x1080 progressive, YUV, 10Mbps

Thunderstruck Video was 370Mb for 5 mins. Its a pain to upload at 40kb/s, but I set it when I go to bed. Its about 1.5 to 2 hours or so for this size file. If its a really long video I will often not bother with 1080 and render it as 720. Lol

Just because of the music playing, I subbed. EXCELLENT CHOICE!

Hahaha thanks , man. Most of the music will be similar themed. I am a 41 yr old guy that grew up with metal and rock and gaming. Thsi is how it works for me. :D

Hehehe thanks Guys. Its all appreciated :D

Feel free to post suggestions for future videos as well.

Bearing in Mind I currently mainly play BF4, Some GTA V and Diablo 3, and the Crew every now and then

Videos at this stage will focus on those games, not so much Diablo 3 though.

I am however looking for some good ideas for a cinematic style GTA V video, was playing around in the editor and need to put that to use
