Got a BB 9700 (finally) ... need some help setting up

1. im on vodacom ... ive activated the BIS ... that sorted ... the phone i bought is an MTN stock phone, so it has all the MTN yellow background and all that jazz ... how do i get rid of all this???? and just have the basic theme????

2. updating the phones OS (might help with 1 above) ... where? how? give me links etc

ok updated the OS ... BUT im still left witht he MTN logo for vodafone live ... how do i reflash this phone with vodacom software ... anyone please help

I also got my 9700 from mtn but using it with vc bis. As far as I know u can't change the vodafone live icon. And why would u want to, u have BIS u shouldn't be using vodafone fine. What OS did u install and from where?

Unfortuantely, you cant, because the splash screen is embedded in the firmware, so even if you upgrade it, I dont think u can take it off~

Apparently all BB's in SA are Vodafone branded, both MTN and Vodacom, so you can't get rid of the Vodafone logo.
