Got a parking fine.

Hey guys want your opinion. Got a parking fine "final notice" (didnt get a pink slip on the window - but thats besides the point) that lists the date and time but for location it says Not Spe cified Strand (space in specified intentional). How can they not tell me me what road or atleast building (fine says at/near/on) so I can see if the fine is legit. Should I take this to the municple court as to me the fine "smells" fishy because the date listed is a Monday at 4:20pm (needing to do a quota of fines?) when im at work and doesnt even give me a location just a whole municipality? Fines for R200

Well if you plan on going to court, you might as well wait for the summons - otherwise send a letter requesting where it was?

The same thing happened to my boss. He refused to pay it because there was no evidence of where he parked illegally. Get hold of the traffic department and tell them they cannot charge you for a fine and not tell you where exactly you were in violation and refuse to pay it. They let my boss of the hook.

I know the location has to be correct for speeding fines. I went to the reductions office to ask about a speeding fine. They had the name of the bridge they were hiding under wrong and without any pushing they reluctantly cancelled it completely (although I was obviously GUILTY).
