I got an email from [email protected] with my credit card details. It was in a secure PDF which I had to unlock with my ID number, and it simply had my personal info and credit card details and how the card worked. I have no idea why I received this email.

Has anyone else gotten an email from this FNB address before?

Edit. The service assistant I spoke to on the app says this is just to inform customers of exactly how much that could be spending through their credit card service. Edited this just in case anyone also gets a similar email in the future.

Credit Card Statement?

No. Just a list of my personal info (edit) and how the credit card works. What's weird is that it's dated a month back, and is a "Confirmation of credit card account details" mail. No statement or anything. Not even a "please contact us".

Contact FNB fraud department.

Am online with the people on the app. Will see what they have to say.

He didn't even leave an email :/

Got this a while ago. I thought probably it must be FICA, credit act, or some regulation related. Just looked like a beaurocratic check box kind of thing. Know what your cost of credit is etc.

Delete.
