Got my adsl today need help with IDM

Hey guys I have a problem with my idm :( ever since the guy installed adsl downloads arent opening with idm on 3 of my browsers that I tried, I tried unticking connect with dial up/vpn and still nothing worked I even uninstalled idm and than re installed it still the same problem does anyone have a solution for this please :( the only way I can download with idm at the moment is if I select open link with idm on internet explorer I cant even download videos anymore cause the little pop up at the bottom doesnt appear aswell
 
With opera normal download manager I get 200kbps on my 4mb line with idm I get 380 to 420kbps download speeds so I really really need to get this working
 
This isnt the biggest of problems now.. I dont have internet access at all from telkom im not sure whats the problem I got the huawei router the internet went off at half 5 and doesnt want to come on at all :( so disappointing I just got the adsl today

It blinks, the internet light doesnt come on I got through to telkom after a 40mins wait the guy told me theres a problem with my exchange. Just installed it today and theres already a problem surely the technician who came today shouldve noticed the problem
 
Telkom guys are so clueless its unbelievable when I 1st connected I had no access I asked the guy why he told me he dont know about these things his not a 'I.T' specialist so he connected the lan cable to his laptop the internet came on and than it came on, on my pc straight after so I thought its nothing major but now im sitting with a headache :(
 
*Relief* the problem was coming from the AC I took out the cord and pushed it straight into the main grey little box and now my internet is working perfect :D so happy now thought it was a major problem glad its not!
