My female pitbull is a year and a half now and now that I have a nice big garden for her I decided to get her a friend.

He is a pitbull cross boerbol so if anyone was wondering what a puppy of these 2 breeds might look like, there he is.

He's gorgeous :)

I've owned Pits all my life amongst many other breeds, and NOTHING steals your heart like a Pit Bull does! Despite what fking society seems to think of them

Here's a pic of my boy Levi who we rescued in terrible shape a year ago... He's now a happy, healthy SA Show Pits registered Pit Bull.

How old is your Pit x Boerboel now? He's gonna be MASSIVE :D

Very handsome dog you have!

My boy is 12 weeks, 14 kgs

I wonder if he might look like this one day? Without the cropped ears of course

I agree, they really do steal your heart but they were bred to be friendly to humans, despite what the media thinks.

Here is my other one, she is full blood apbt, she is also 29 kgs

Hahaha, what the hell is that black dog :O Panther x Bear x American Bully :D ITS HAAAWWWWGGGGGEEEE!!

Thanks for the compliment :) I dont have an high res pics of my boy on my work laptop, but will put one up when im at home.

Your female is beautiful! I used to have a male that had the same colouring, they are gorgeous! And yea, with the media going on about how "aggresive" they are, and "how they WILL turn on their owner" honestly puts me into a rage!!! Not one single pit bull i have owned has ever turned on anyone. And kids... Pit Bulls LOVE kids!!! You must see how Levi plays with all the kids when we have family braais n that! A friend of mine has a 6month old puppy that literally latches onto Levi's neck and just hangs there for a good 5mins while Levi just stares at me like "Why's he doing this???". I wish the media would start looking at the owner and not the breed, cos a Pit Bull that is raised as a family dog is one of the softest dogs you will ever come across! FACT

You must post updates of your pup so we can see what he looks like and how big he gets! Im very interested to see cos i've always liked the idea of a Pit x Boerboel but never actually seen one...

He's gorgeous :) Our boy is almost 2 now and we're thinking of getting a female pit

Rofl, she obviously isn't giving her dog enough mental and physical stimulation.

My one also lets puppies latch on her neck but the puppies that do this actually start hurting her neck so I have to intervene.

Their pain threshold is incredible, its nice that my cat can attack her face without the dog even flinching let alone retaliate.

They make great therapy dogs for kids because of this, kids can bite their ears without the dogs biting back

The most important thing with these dogs is socialization, I'm actually taking my 2 to the walkhaven dog park every week. Awesome place, you must go there if you own a dog.

I got a female pitbull cross boerbull, tell me just out of interest does your dog get highly aggressive when say they have a ball or they are protecting something? It can be anything from his bed to a piece of paper he pulled from somewhere. Most recently it has been rats.

We got her at about two from a rescue place but i never been able to get rid of that tendency, otherwise she is a sweet loving animal, but do not try and take something away. She will attack. Tried some dog whisperer shyte as well but i didn't push it too far.

Awesome looking animal though :D. Superb watch dogs as well.

He's not possessive towards me, as the owner you should try and prevent this like putting your hand over his food while he's eating if he growls its a bad thing and you must try stop this behaviour, you can do this with toys as well.

But he does growl at my female when she approaches and he's chewing on something, I would like to stop this behaviour as well.

My female pitbull doesn't ever do this, he can take away her toy or hoof and she isn't phased.

I think it's because we got him at 11 weeks and he had a rough couple of first few weeks with his siblings, he had all sorts of marks and scratches on his body, I actually pulled a puppy canine tooth out his forehead so I think this is where he picked up this competitive behaviour, I need to teach him that food and chew toys are not scarce and that if my female takes his hoof it isn't a big deal and he can just go find another one.

Edit: would be nice to see a pic of your dog! Also I jammed quite a few bf3 games with you but now I've moved and still waiting for adsl
