I actually ordered the Govee T3 lite last week from Govee SA. No stock available and expected ETA early to mid-May. Initially ordered the T1 as they do have stock but changed my order and decided to rather wait for T3 lite.Anybody know of a place that stock the Govee TV Backlight T3 Lite (besides importing) atm.
I see the T1 is available at a couple of places but trying to find the T3 before settling on the T1.

I tried to see on the website but shows sold out and buy now doesn't work. Did contact them to find out about stock yesterday but haven't heard anything back as yet.I actually ordered the Govee T3 lite last week from Govee SA. Planning on getting some of those also but they lack the camera. Will use them to extend the light in the room when linked to the T1/T3.I am using one of these. Just for pumping along to the music.
However, the Govee T3 Lite looks nice. Would definitely consider one should I buy again. The Govee products are just a bit expensive.
The difference on Takealot/Govee SA between the T1 and T2 is/was R100 so that is why I was looking for the newer model. I'm lazy so the auto off and white LED was worth R100Go t1 on takealot and save money. The difference isn't much especially once you start focusing on what you're watching and not the lights around. They're very so slightly more responsive but the brightness and colour accuracy are the same. The T2/3 are very slight improvements and if you really want a big improvement rather get a sync box.
Source: trust me bro.
I'm not in a "rush" but if I can (pre-)order a T3 and be sure I have one coming I will also rather do that. Just don't want to wait 6/7 weeks and then still nothing on the store or Takealot. If you can't wait for T3 lite stock to arrive and you want to get the T1, Govee SA also has unboxed deals where the T1 is R1599. As per the support person I spoke to, they test everything before selling it and you get full 1 year warranty. The only damage might be the packaging which happened during transit.
I had initially ordered this but later cancelled the order as I preferred getting the T3 lite and am willing to wait.
Yes please PM me the persons details and I'll see what I can get sorted thanks. You probably can do that. When initially order the T1 (R1599) and decided to rather go with the T3 lite, I spoke to them about it. The person I spoke to was very friendly and helpful.
At this stage I had already paid and I was given the option of getting my money back or they put my order on "hold" and I just pay the difference for the T3 when it arrives. I opted for them to just put it on hold and they will contact me when the stock arrives.
Because they supply Takealot with stock she was even willing to pull back T3 stock from them to send to me but alas stock was sold out.
You can email their support and they respond very quickly or I can give you the name of the person I spoke to.
Yes, they are based in Paarden Eiland. ETA early to mid-May.Govee.co.za exists.
If it’s not on there it’s not in the country yet. Contact them and ask when they expect it.
I think @AlphaJohn has one

The way it should be.No he has a static LED backlight.
I actually don't know. When I spoke to the person on the phone she just mentioned that they were in Paarden Eiland. I didn't think to ask where in the area they were located or if they had a store.Oh that’s good to know.
Can one actually go there and check things out or is it online only?
The way it should be.
Oh I couldn’t care less about that but colour accuracy is a thing and these colour changing lights don’t work well with that.Well my main problem with this type of product, is the phone home bull s.... I have HassIO and If I can't run something in Local-only mode it does not go into my house. IoT = internet access denied.
I have a Sonoff Moodlight behind my TV connected to Home Assistant.
