As a first time GOW player i was really looking forward to playing this game especially having played heavenly sword and loving every bit of it !

I must say though that GOW is in a totally different league the puzzels are mind boggling at times although patience i learned is the key.

i think i'm almost half way through (just got pandora's box) and have to say the worst part of the game for me was the spike room :twisted: i had to google it to make sure i was doing it right ! d@mn that part was hard.

Looking forward to the rest of the game and must say it's awesome but very difficult at times.

i got two more unopened games to go through not to mention GOW 2 :D christmas specials this year are awesome big up to BT games for their incredible R99 specials. lets hope other retailers are more competitive with their prices now.
 
Cheeze n rice. Didn't know it was available, or did you import. It's supposed to retail for $40, so should be around R350-400. What did you pay for it? Got the Ps2 versions, now must upgrade. Have you played the GoW3 demo, its supposed to come with the Collection.
 
Locally you looking at paying bet. 500 and 550(Zaps and take2). If you import maybe around 400. You get a code to download the demo - it is not on the disk itself.
 
R450 imported, but zaps has it at a good price as well ! didn't play the demo. to be honest i didn't even check to see if it came with the download code.
 
Only the versions imported from the US include the demo code. And it's a 3gig download anyway, not really worth it with the final product 3 months away.
 
What game are you talking about here? Gears or god of war? Sounds nothing like Gears :P
 
Yeah I agree with phiber, everytime I read GOW I think Gears of War :p I vote there should be a new acronym for it :)
 
ordered gow collection from zaps 10 days ago...anyone got stock from them? haven't received mine as yet...
 
i'll sell mine as soon as i'm finished with it, i'm on GOW2 by the sisters of fate.

I'm playing GoW Collection for the 1st time. Never played a GoW game before. Only on the 1st one & I am loving the rage!

:)

Can't wait to see what 2 & 3 will be like. :)

2 is awesome but also very tricky as well on certain puzzels, very rewarding once you get passed them :p
