+1 Saw that yesterday quite good acctually
I'd have to agree with Solidus.
The only caveat would be that if you're an SP only player you may get more hours out of Far Cry 2, but if there's any MP (Co-op or versus) Gears 2 takes it.
As for chainsaw beating shotty, there's a very simple solution, shoot to kill, one shot stop gets me every time
I hear you, but im so used to the frenetic pace that Gears1 is played at. Gears2 feels way too slow for me...
Apparently a patch for Gears2 has just been released which includes a fix for the shotgun. The matchmaking system has been improved as well. Shotgun will now blindfire accurately instead of going straight into the floor. So my one shot kill skillz are just going to be a whole lot better now.

Well, I wouldn't sell a kidney for one of those, seeing as (healthy) kidneys can easily go up to R100k each... I'll just work a full day's worth of overtime and by them all!
No ways dude.. R100 K for a kidney... that was back in the day.. Now with the Chinese, Indians and the Mexicans getting into the organ trade, you'd be lucky if you get R10 000....

Decided on COD5. I played the beta and like dit so figured it was a safe bet
Games too expensive these days to buy blind, will try test drive fallout..

Buying a Chinese / Indian / Mexican kidney is like buying a pirated DVD at the robot from a hawker. You'll just use and abuse it and get rid of it after a weekend.I must say I'm little disappointed in GOW2. So far its just not as intense as the 1st GOW.
And that rock snake/worm thing in GOW2 is just so lame!!

I am trying to give Gears2 a fair chance!
Well on the weekends I usually can manage to host a full game of Gears1.
During the week its not that easy, cept we managed to jam some Gears1 on Tuesday nite.

Considering @udiS3 has both a 360 and PS3 and chooses to play "crappy" GeOW2 instead of CoD5, Left 4 dead, Resistance2 or LBP, well ... that speaks volumes now doesn't it ...
@@udi, Hey we did pretty good last night. I think everyone's starting to get used to the "gears 2" way so are starting to suck less, so everyone's having a lot more fun

@Doobz: Yeah, was some good gaming! You got loads of sweet killz! I find I struggle when connecting up to a game hosted in CT. The added latency is a disadvantage i.e. aim accuracy in relation to player positioning.
