GPRS - am i missing something with my setup

Hi ppl.

my setup:

i've got a gigabyte bluetooth usb dongle that i got from rectron - it installed 100% - did the whole pairing thing with my phone - motorolla ROKR E1 .

the com port installed correctly ect.

now: as soon as i dial the vodacom number ( *99***1# or *99# ) with both u & p fields blank , i get:

verifying your username and password -> registering your computer on the network -> BANG! DUN 619 error port is disconnected.

At first when i got the phone - i couldn't surf the net with the phone itself - went over to vodacom4me and enabled all the "disabled" data related options.

now i can surf on the phone - its a bit cramped into 1 spot .

however no GPRS via pc-bluetooth - DUN 619.

any ideas /suggestions ?

i did contact vodacom customer care - they gave *99***1# as no - but neither works for me.
