GPS Forts?

Do anyone know if there is a Fort-game out there that uses GPS location?
You know, the classical game of 2 cannons battling it out by setting the angle and power to shoot a cannonball. (Crap this is hard to explain, but i think people will understand)

i just think it might be kinda cool. unfortunately i don't have any programming skills otherwise i would have done a iPhone app.

I have n't thought thought it through yet but here is how i thought it might work.

Your location would be your position. the distance between two players would be directly proportional to the size of the explosion. The tilt of the phone would be the angle at which you shoot. It might be like a WORMS tipe game.( i love WORMS). I know there's many complications but i just wondered if anyone knew of something...guess not.
