GPS - GLONASS vs Galileo

I got my Venu 2 yesterday and great watch , but I noticed it was slower at locking onto GPS than my previous Huwaei. I started reading and noticed there are two satellite streams (GLONASS vs Galileo) - is there any real world difference between the two ?

Glonass is Russian
Galileo is European

GLONASS is usually more accurate in mountainous areas, while Galileo is more accurate in urban areas. Galileo should be slightly more accurate than GLONASS, depending on its surroundings. Both are more accurate than GPS which is the oldest and most widely used.

On the Venu 2 you can use as follows:

• Select GPS Only to enable the GPS satellite system.
• Select GPS + GLONASS (Russian satellite system) for more accurate position information in situations with poor sky visibility.
• Select GPS + GALILEO (European Union satellite system) for more accurate position information in situations with poor sky visibility.
• NOTE: Using GPS and another satellite system together can reduce battery life more quickly than using GPS only.

Also, what I found on the Fenix 5 is that when I go outside or use satellite related functions regularly, lock-on is quick, if I do not use it for some time the next lock-on seems to take longer (Fenix 7 is faster in locking on, or maybe all of this is just my perception, I have not measured it at all).
