GPS navigation apps for N97

Well I have had Garmin XT mobile for a while and thought it was getting a bit stale on my N97. I have now added NDRIVE and so far it seems quite impressive.
Are there any other (good and free) nav apps available for Symbian S60 V5?

My list:
Garmin XT Mobile (excellent)
Nav4all (waste of time):erm:
Ndrive( seems excellent)
Google maps (not so hot with navigation)
Nokia Maps V3 (average if not a little slow):erm:

TomTom, but it's not free, though. The one I played with was for V3, which I found very good. Since when was Garmin Mobile XT free? Ndrive doesn't look free to me either.

Symbian go with Garmin XT

Certainly better than the Nokia maps. Garmin, being 2009 is still probably better than the Ndrive 2008 maps, but I havn't used Ndrive long enough. Only installed it on the N97 today!

Just a question. I have "upgraded" to V2.0. Now the GPS only works with the A-GPS on where as i didn't need to have it on with the old version. Is there a way to use it without going online?

Sorry to say, but I wish I could go back 3 weeks to that moment in the Vodashop and change my mind! I have upgraded to the v12 software but the newer v20 (2?) is still not available from Vodacom - not expecting miracles anyway.

Wish I found this forum before I decided on this phone - must admit it is my own fault - did not do much research, just wanted the latest Nokia. Found about 8 threads here with some very dissapointed N97 owners.

Agree - worst handset I ever owned. Will hopefully sell it soon. Would change iot for a 6110

Get it to V20.....TOTALLY DIFFERENT PHONE. Many here, including myself, have changed the product code to get the new version.

yes got my camera and slider sorted today at vodaworld, and waited about 40min to get it sorted, right now pretty much chuffed with my N97 and wont replace it for any phone out there ... v20 brought a huge improvement in stability and usability of the phone
