GPS software fo Galaxy Tab

I'm new to Android. Got myself a Galaxy Tab to play with.

I need GPS software with maps like Garmin or something. Don't know what is available for the Tab.

Any help would be appreciated.

it comes with Google maps. it's capable. although, Brut maps has turn by turn navigation. dunno if device must be routed. not planning on rooting mine. got it on my rooted dream.

I bought Navdroid before I found the way to unlock Google maps built in Navigation

If you want to totally avoid even temp root on your tab you can go look at OsmAnd based on Openstreetmaps work.

I would rate Google's Navigation the best
