MSI R5850 Twin Frozr II Radeon HD5850

and the

Sapphire Game Edition Radeon HD5870

and this one

MSI R5870-PM2D1G Radeon HD5870

Which one is better if I game?

Will it be the "game edition" one?

Both 5870s should be equal, unless one is factory overclocked.

Check what the warranty difference is. Sapphire is 2yr, MSI could be 3yr, otherwise they'll be 2yr.

Sapphire are generally pretty good, and with Fronotsa as the supplier, you will have no problems with warranty returns.

I wouldn't buy a 5850 now.. You can get a 6870 for less that performs better!
Like Postman said, if the 5870s are clocked the same, they will perform the same. The only difference maybe in the warranties and the quietness/effectiveness of their cooling if it is not the reference cooler..
Performance: 5850 < 6870 < 5870
Price: 6870< 5850 < 5870

Just waiting for prices in the market to settle then we will see some nice bargains I think :)

I agree with the above post. Wait a week or two and get an ATi 68xx card. They are great performers for a VERY decent price. Check out http://www.prophecy.co.za for those cards. There isn't any stock but you can see all the reviews there.

I see.. But the difference isn't really that great between the 6870 and the 5870..

but ok.. i guess I'll just have to wait a while..

Does anyone know if newly GPU prices will come down after a while? Like normally new products are over-charged... So Was just thinking, maybe later on like end of the year it will decrease in price? Maybe?

Hey.. Just clicked on the link..

Club3D RADEON HD 6870 1GB GDDR5

It says that it's a 2.1.. is all PCI-E 2.1? I just got confused.. mm.. thanks for the link!

Pci express 2.1 is backwards compatible. Don't stress.

Guru3D was the first website that leaked their reviews. There are 100's of sites that have reviews for the HD 68xx series cards.

If you can pickup the HD 6870 for under R2700, then it would definitely be the best choice here.

Yeah.. But how do we know about the performance?

but anyway, i think that's the GPU i'm going to go for hey..

Thanks

Like just reading what they do and stuff?

I read all of them.. And they just compared it and all..

but it's all cool.. Thanks!

Nothing really, cause I never read a review about a GPU so I didn't know what exactly they would have done.. so yeah..
