Graduate banking packages

Hi,
I'm starting a new job soon and have been intrigued by the "graduate" packages offered by all of the major banks. However I'm wondering if this is truly a great deal or if they are simply taking me for a ride once again.

Are anyone here using one of these packages, and if so would you recommend it or rather just take / use what you need.

The FNB Graduate package gives you a Gold cheque card and a credit card even if you only should qualify for a silver according to their normal qualifying income standards.

Of course, Gold credit card = higher annual fee and you'd probably get the same credit limit if you had a silver or blue one.

I'm not sure about the other banks, though.
