the otherday my motherboard and cpu blew, now i got a new dual core setup, but noticed when i installed my graphics card, i noticed that it got very. on more investigation, i found the fan on the card not working. i went around looking for one couldn't find a fan that small. where can i find a small fan like that

i have a nvidia 256mb 6600 graphics card.

Thats almost the same price as his card:eek:.. Not worth it imho

I think you need to take replacement value into consideration.

What I did with an old card was buy a 40/50 mm fan from an electronics shop for about R30 and glue it to the heatsink with Pratley Steel Weld.

Worked like a charm.

I meant the price of the cooler :D

thanks guys...

yeah saw the fans at take2, but i reckon thats what the card is worth almost.

i guess, i will try juggy's suggestion....

so after spending my whole sunday looking for the stupid small fan, i came home with nothing - couldn't find anything.

so i decided to try and see if my old intel cpu fan would work, i plugged in and it worked, but the fan is to big. so the question is how do i attach this fan, as i guess superglue wont do the job
