Graphics Card Update Help

According to my Device manager, I have a Standard VGA Graphics Adapter: Driver version: 6.1.7600.16385. How do I update this? I was able to play games like Sims, Cricket 07, Fifa 08, Rugby 08 etc, now I can't (I'm encountered by various errors) I think the graphics card needs to be updated, or?

Do you have a video card in the PCI-E or AGP slot or do you have an onboard video card and in that case what motherboard or PC is it?
