I have this standard PC... I would like to upgrade my graphics card...

I would like to get the 9600gt so its a 512mb ddr3 card but how do I know it will work on my PC... I got a C.NF5-DH motherboard

all you have to worry about is if it has a PCI-E x16 slot or not ......

Check in the motherboard manual what kind of Slots u have and see if it has an AGP slot or an PCI-E x16 slot.

Download SIW and install. The 'Motherboard' tab should reveal more information on your mobo model and manufacturer, which should help you find out which slots it has.

Alternatively, you could look use Wikipedia to help identify the slots on your motherboard.

Then you waxed :D
That card will work perfectly....but even beter if you have PCI-E x16 2.0

If u have a pci express 16 port and 400Watt power supply or bigger you really got nothing to worry about.

Dont forget abou the power supply. need 450 Watt or higher. I got the XfX version of the 9600GT, one helluva card for the price

Graphics cards at the mid end are very powerful these days. 3850/9600 are excellent choices.

What about the new HD4830. Heard its better than both the 9600GT and HD3850.

Check the last numbers The 4 "830" is weaker than the 3"850" The 4 is just a new technology. Same with the 9 "600" will be on par with a 8"600"

The 9600gt was closer to the 8800gt than the 8600gt
