Hi there.

As you can see I have 2x GTX 570's Twin Frozr III power edition. I'm getting crashes on bf3, crysis3 and strane black ops 2. in bf3 and crysis I will get some directex error and in black ops 2 it will say some driver file crashed. I have tried putting my core and memory speed on defaults but still crashes. Also tried the new driver 314.21. That is actually where it started.

Now I removed the driver whent with the old drive but I still get crashes. I'm just so scared that my cards is busy dying. BTW my cards will never go above 74C max.

Maybe its the SLI remove one card run the game see if its all fine then swap it out with the other one check again. Maybe its just one acting up or SLI ****ing with u

Nope, I'm not clairvoyant and only realized after I read this that it's probably in your signature (that I can't see)

Personally I don't think it's your graphics card at all. Sounds like faulty RAM or an overheating CPU

Overclocking is fun they said. It will make you save money they said.

lol. actually my cards was starting to act like this ever since the crappy 3xx.xx drivers before that the cards was fine. if only they would make it easier to blow out the cards. like removing the fans only cause maybe my VRM or memory is overheating.

If I remove the 4 screws on the back of the card and remove the cooler do I have to redo the thermal paste or can I just put it back on?

If you remove any heatsinks.Always clean off old thermal paste and replace with new.

Hi Was having a directx error on my HD 7750 GPU. It had been running fine on the new driver for about a week or so then started getting this error playing bf3. I uninstalled ATI software, drivers and removed GPU for device man. Restarted and install drivers again. No problems after that.

Oh look, someone who knows little to nothing about overclocking decides to makes a useless comment that doesnt help the OP at all. Thank you for your overwhelming contribution

Moving on...
OP - other suggestions so far are good.
Uninstall everything related to graphics, reinstall
Then test one GPU at a time (you may have to test in different PCIe slots to eliminate the mobo being the issue)
Then go back to SLI
Depending on where the crashes come back you'll know whats at fault.

It may also be a good idea to run a CPU/memory test too. Highly (highly) unlikely that the issue is there, but its a 30min test (using intelburntest) and then you can be 100% confident the issue isnt there

I also don't think it is cpu related. cause that will give me a blue screen rather than a directx or nvidia driver tdr error. Do you guys think that MY VRM/Memory is overheating. I will swap the cards around and then test again.

Now one of my cards is making the growling noise. Maybe the fan is busy failing
