I only saw this now ... I can access the Android app store from within GMail. All my apps are there and I can manage them from GMail. Cool! This is where Google is getting ahead.

Yep, their online Android Market has always been awesome. Browse apps on your PC, click install, and a couple of seconds later your phone starts downloading it. No cables or PC connection or sync apps or anything needed!

Nope, not showing on mine. I just drilled down through the dashboard and I found them that way, but there is no quick link on my home page. It might be because you can't buy apps in the country I'm in and it's got my phone registered on the local network here rather than Vodacom when at home.

It shows in my profile as 'Samsung GT-i9100 Zain' and it's caused probs before with the market. I'll have a look when I'm back home.

Cheers for the screenshot.

Now if they only give us in SA access to Music/Books & movies, I'll be happy.

Also I have a feeling some anti-trust coming soon as they using there market position in search to promote Android and its app store.

Thanks for the heads up dude. I use GApps through Outlook so would not have picked this up for a while. Nice to know :)

I'm sure they would want to give us all those things as it will earn them more income but as you know all those "rights" a few people own always come first.
